Abstract
Lagally’s theorem is extended to a number m of moving and growing vortices arbitrarily situated behind a circular cylinder immersed in a time-dependent ambient flow. Lift, drag, and added-mass coefficients are presented in terms of the characteristics of vortices.Keywords
