The Adaptation of Microtechnic to Platelet Counts with the Coulter Counter

Abstract
A method for counting platelets from capillary blood using a Coulter Counter is presented. Very high, very low, and normal platelet counts may be done with acceptable accuracy. These results document the comparability of platelet counts from capillary blood samples and those from venous samples.
