Abstract
An excess of negative particles and depletion of positive particles in the backward hemisphere (c.m. system) is observed in and interactions on neutron target. is compared with interactions and the difference is related to the slow-proton spectrum produced in the interactions. A neutron fragmentation component is observed and the inclusive charge-exchange probability at the nucleon vertex is found to be about 0.4.
