Abstract
Presentation of CaseA three-year-old boy was admitted to the hospital because of the nephrotic syndrome.The child's health was excellent until six weeks before admission, when he was observed to have puffy eyes. Several days later the abdomen became swollen, and the scrotum was edematous. He was admitted to another hospital, where examination showed anasarca. The blood pressure was 110/60 mm Hg. The urine gave a + + + + test for protein. Hypoalbuminemia was found. Furosemide and prednisone were administered; the weight fell from 19 to 16 kg, although proteinuria persisted, with + + to + + + . . .Keywords
