Abstract
A 1.32 µm suboctave analogue fibre optic link with a measured spurious free dynamic range of 123 dBHz4/5 has been demonstrated at an average detector photocurrent of 0.25 mA. This link employs a packaged InGaAsP electroabsorption waveguide modulator biased to suppress the third-order intermodulation distortion. Keywords
