Angular Energy Dependence of a 180° Domain Wall in BaTiO3

Abstract
The thermodynamic theory of the domain wall has been used to calculate the dependence of the energy of a 180° wall in the tetragonal BaTiO3 phase on the angle ϕ which the wall forms with the a axis. The result derived is analysed from the point of view of the BaTiO3 domain structure.Keywords
