Abstract
A tumor of the kidney of the leopard frog (Rana pipiens) has been studied in this laboratory for the last several years. It is an epithelial tumor of glandular structure, varying in appearance from a typical infiltrating and destructive adenocarcinoma, which is the usual type, to a more orderly and circumscribed adenoma. It has all the attributes of a true neoplasm, and it is of particular interest because of the frequent occurrence within the nuclei of the tumor cells of inclusion bodies such as are caused by viruses.
