Energy-dependent phase shift analysis of pion-nucleon scattering below 400 MeV

Abstract
An analytic function of energy is fitted to the available , , and wave phase shifts of various goups below 400 MeV. This global average, which reproduces well most of the experiment cross sections, is anticipated to be useful in pion-nucleus and pion-nucleon interaction calculations.
