Abstract
Primary malignant melanoma of the vagina is a rare lesion and some doubt the existence of this entity. Histological evidence for origin of a melanoma from vaginal mucosa is presented and further confirmed by complete necropsy study to exclude the possibility of an extra-vaginal primary. Keywords
