Abstract
The results of the experimental study of the burst spectrum in ionization chambers underground accompanied by EAS are presented. The investigations were carried out at depths of 20 and 40 m.w.e. The absence of absorption of the burst intensity with increasing depth underground (from 20 to 40 m.w.e.) and the form of the burst spectrum make it possible to affirm that the bursts in EAS underground are generated by high-energy muons. The experiment shows that the 10–103 GeV EAS muon energy spectrum has an exponent γ = 1.2–1.5.Keywords
