Abstract
Studies on the gustatory sense have always played a minor part in neurological diagnostics. For one thing there are only a few investigators who have interested themselves in the technical problems involved, and for another, so divided are the opinions on the course of the taste pathways that no reliable conclusions can be drawn from otherwise well conducted researches in this field. Keywords
