Abstract
As a result of extensive efforts in 1951-1954, 5 species of trichogrammatid and mymarid egg parasites of Circulifer tenellus. have been introduced into California and other Western States from the Mediterranean area of Europe. Two species, designated Lymaenon "A" and Polynema "A", have been recovered in limited numbers. A program of production in large numbers and their colonization in the field is underway and 214,100 parasites have already been released. The program of search for and importation of additional parasites is continuing. Several years will be required to appraise the value of this effort. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
