FLUCTUATING FLOW PAST A POROUS INFINITE FLAT PLATE IN SLIP FLOW REGIME

Abstract
The paper extends the work of Stuart (1) for the viscous fluctuating flow over an infinite flat plate with suction by introducing the slip flow boundary conditions in place of no-slip boundary conditions. Comparison of the results of slip and no-slip cases reveals that in general the slip boundary conditions exhibit a subduing influence on the response of the skin friction and heat transfer at the wall to the main stream fluctuations.
