Abstract
Commercial penicillinases vary in their capacity to destroy penicillinase-resistant penicillins and cephalosporins. A new freeze-dried preparation containing both beta-lactamase I and II was found to inactivate all penicillins and cephalosporins at levels above those likely to be encountered in clinical specimens. Keywords
