Abstract
A method is presented for the treatment of specific heat data at very low temperatures where long response times would introduce large errors in the standard graphical method used with the adiabatic technique : use is made of the knowledge of the time evolution of the temperature T and of its time derivative T. This method was adapted to an automatic system of acquisition and treatment of the data. The gain in accuracy enables us to separate the impurity and the host contribution to the nuclear specific heat of Cu-Mn between 20 mK and 100 mK. The hyperfine field is found to be 290 ± 10 kOe on the Mn nucleiKeywords
