Introduction The vascular pathways of the cat's orbit have been previously described,1-3 but detailed information regarding the vasculature of the eye itself is scanty and mostly limited to the retina. Since the cat is used as an experimental animal for investigation of intraocular pressure, the vascular beds and their connections should be known before data can be accurately assessed for interpretation. It is the purpose of this communication to provide such information through studies of casts obtained by neoprene * injection of cat eyes. Method and Materials Studies were made on casts of 25 eyes. The adult cats were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of pentobarbital sodium (35 mg/kg); subsequently, 2 ml of heparin was administered intravenously (1,000 units/ml).
