Abstract
Six dairy cows with limb cellulitis responded differently to treatment. The location of the cellulitis on the limb seemed to influence the course, severity and prognosis of the disease, as judged by its responsiveness to therapy. Cellulitis which extended from the coronet to above the carpus or hock was more severe and had a poorer prognosis than cellulitis distal to these joints. The degree of lameness exhibited by the cows indicated the severity and extent of the underlying cellulitis. Keywords
