Abstract
Simultaneous measurement of renal blood flow and of clearance of hippuran and phenol red in the rabbit indicates that the volume of blood flowing through the kidneys in a measured period of time is insufficient to make possible the excretion of these substances by glomerular filtration alone. Tubular secretion must therefore be concerned in their elimination. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
