Abstract
The negative value of the order-parameter susceptibility found in simple mean-field theories of spin-glasses is related to the negative value of the kinetic coefficient of the spin response function. The zero-frequency limit of the self-consistent equation for the dynamic response function has a solution which differs from the spin-spin correlation function obtained from a static calculation. This solution gives the order-parameter susceptibility a finite, positive value. Keywords
