Abstract
Results are presented for the -axis resistivity of dysprosium in the vicinity of the Néel temperature , which provide the first quantitative verification of the theory of scattering of electrons by spin fluctuations above in an antiferromagnet. Immediately below the transition the resistivity can be described by including the effects of phononsmeared superzone-induced band gaps.
