Abstract
This article completes our short series in which we have reviewed various types of appliance therapy. The present article considers the more advanced fixed appliances with special reference to the Begg and Edgewise techniques. Indications for the choice of fully banded appliances from the start of treatment are discussed. This final article in common with the preceding ones is not a comprehensive review of the whole range of fixed techniques available to the orthodontist but representative and illustrated by two case reports. Keywords
