Abstract
Standard‐sized punches used in hair transplantation are between 3.5 and 4.5 mm in diameter. Much smaller punches of 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5 mm in diameter are more useful to fill in small gaps in frontal rows on the scalp. A patient is described and illustrated in whom a poorly fashioned hairline was corrected by the use of the smaller punches to obtain and transplant tiny grafts containing three or four hairs each.
