Abstract
In a series of 6 trials involving 66 cows, regular delays up to 20 min. from the beginning of washing cows'' udders until the attachment of milking machines apparently did not decrease milk production. Routine fast milking procedures, however, should emphasize the importance of attaching machines 1-2 min. after washing because of labor efficiency and production of clean milk. Data are presented which emphasize the importance of using entire udders in drawing conclusions in work of this type. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
