Abstract
The complexes of 1-isovaleryl-4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazide (IVPTS) with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) have been prepared and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, molar conductance, magnetic moment and spectral (visible, IR, NMR) studies. Square-planar geometry have been proposed for Ni(II) and Cu(II) and octahedral for the Co(II) complex. Keywords
