Abstract
Some diseases or syndromes with combined symptoms from the nervous system and from the eye are accounted for. Iridocyclitis, chorioiditis, periphlebitis retinae, and/or retrobulbar neuritis. The process in the eye is presumed to be a vascular reaction, a periphlebitis or peri-vasculitis, and a similar reaction is believed to take place in the central nervous system. The relation of this vascular reaction to multiple sclerosis is discussed. Keywords
