Evidence of Phasons in the Specific Heat of Potassium

Abstract
The low-temperature specific heat of potassium has been remeasured and evidence for the existence of phasons is found. The fraction of phonons converted to phasons is 2× and the Debye temperature of these phasons is 6 K.
