Abstract
We compared speed and accuracy of operators using either multiple item line menus or menus calling sub-menus. Results suggest that naive users are faster when using menus which present all of the information on one screen (multiple-item line menus). Once trained, however, operators perform faster with menus calling sub-menus.Keywords
