Abstract
This note reports data on parent-child and spouse resemblance on the Wechsler intelligence scales, the WISC and WAIS. Test data on parents and one male 10-year-old child from 55 Canadian families are used to estimate father-son, mother-son, midparent-son, and father-mother correlations on 11 comparable subscales and on the verbal, performance, and total IQ aggregates. Heritabilities for these same scales are estimated as the regression of offspring on midparent values. Keywords
