Abstract
Daily measurements of fallout air activity and deposited activity at Kjeller, Norway, from 1 Sept. 1956 to 30 Sept. 1959 are given as monthly means for days with and without obvious precipitation. It seems that significant concentrations of fallout particles reach the earth about 3 months after high-yield test explosions. Dry deposition may reduce the amounts of fallout materials available for capture by precipitation. DOI: 10.1111/j.2153-3490.1960.tb01315.x
