Abstract
Discusses operations research in management and describes a simulation program for studying the management of even aged forests. It employs detailed descriptions of the structure of the stands, projects the development and yields from thinnings and final fellings, and thus calculates the long-term effects of management strategies on yields of wood and revenue. Keywords
