Abstract
Chromosomes were examined and karyotypes were established for 47 of the 65 spp. recognized in Section Oncocyclus (Siems.) Baker of the genus Iris L. All species manifested a strinkingly similar, bimodal, asymmetric, chromosome complement (2n = 20). In spite of the considerable floral divergence in this section, the chromosomes remained basically unchanged.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
