Abstract
A relatively simple model which reproduces the measured formation cross sections of deformed superheavy nuclei synthesized in cold fusion reactions is proposed. Within this model, optimal bombarding energies and formation cross sections of the hypothetical spherical superheavy nuclei are predicted.Keywords
