Abstract
Angiocardiographywas performed twice with an interval of 1 year in 9 patients who were selected from a group of 68 children who had a 1 -stage repair operation for Fallot''s tetralogy. In all the patients the clinical picture or angiocardiogram suggested increasing severity of outflow tract obstruction with a reduction in pulmonary blood flow. The possible errors in observation are discussed. It is suggested that the anatomical abnormality is present at birth but that a slower rate of growth of the abnormal area increases the severity of the obstruction. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
