Abstract
The electric field integro-differential equation for electromagnetic scattering from a perfectly conducting body of revolution is solved by the method of moments. A numerical solution is obtained by means of a computer program which is described and listed. This computer program is designed to handle oblique plane wave incidence efficiently. Spatial staggering of expansion functions for the orthogonal components of the induced current is known to give good accuracy when the body of revolution has edges. By means of triangle and pulse expansion functions, this spatial staggering is achieved without the use of shifted source segments. The present computer program is highly competitive with other available programs as concerns storage, execution time, and accuracy. (Author)Keywords
