Abstract
The diaphragm is the main muscle of ventilation and the chief barrier separating the thorax from the abdomen. This article discusses diaphragmatic anatomy, physiology, pathology, and radiology, including hernia, eventration, rupture, tumors, paralysis, weakness, and fatigue.
