Abstract
The dynamical characteristics of the Brochard-Leger wall in nematics have been investigated experimentally. The dependences of the width, the moving speed and the relaxation time of the wall on the reduced magnetic field have been measured. The linear dependence of the speed of the wall on the tilt angle of the magnetic field has also been revealed. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical conclusions. Keywords
