Abstract
Fluorescence spectra of 78Se32S and 80Se32S have been excited by lines of argon-ion and krypton-ion lasers and recorded with moderate resolution. All the series are assigned to transitions to one or other component of ther 3 Sigma - ground state, XO+ or X1, and the observation of two pairs of series, 0+-XO+, X1, allows a direct determination of the X1-X0+ separation. Te(X1) is found to be 196.8+or-2.0 cm-1.Keywords
