Abstract
Conditions are obtained which ensure that a 2nth order ordinary differential equation on a halfaxis have at most n linearly independent square-integrable solutions. The emphasis is on bounds on the integrals of the coefficients, and on conditions imposed over a sequence of intervals.Keywords
