Abstract
This paper presents evidence, in hominids from Atapuerca‐lbeas identified up to now as being from the Middle Pleistocene, of disease, trauma and other processes that can be investigated in palaeopathology. The objective is to contribute, from this scientific area, and in a more significant form, to the studies about the palaeoecology and palaeobiology in general of these populations. The numerous findings discovered recently and new fieldwork give promising perspectives. Keywords
