Abstract
This paper is focussed on the biological treatability studies of pulping effluents from a hemp-based pulp and paper industry. Experiments were conducted by using white fungus, Phanerochaete chrysosporium, in a laboratory batch reactor. It was found that the colour removal efficiency is 75% for pulping effluents in the presence of high concentrations of glucose. Keywords
