Abstract
An automatic fluorimetric micromethod is described, based on the reaction of condensation of serotonin with o-phthaldialdehyde, forming a fluorescent compound. This precise and sensitive method permits estimation of serotonin on microsamples. The results obtained on [human] capillary blood are identical to those obtained on venous blood.
