Abstract
A case report of pheochromocytoma, in which the tumor was located in the costovertebral area just lateral to the upper portion of the descending aorta. On removal of the mass, the systolic blood pressure dropped from 220 to 110 mm. Hg , and a few minutes later was barely obtainable. With intraven. adrenalin, a gradual elevation of blood pressure occurred. For several years after operation the blood pressure ranged between 160/100 and 180/110, but later it fell to 140/80.Keywords
