Abstract
The gamma-induced decarboxylation ofβ-phenylalanine in the solid state is a chain reaction. Both enantiomers and the racemate ofβ-phenylalanine-1-14C show different exponential dose-effect curves for the radiation-induced cleavage of14CO2.Keywords
