Abstract
The specific name curtipennis (Harris) is reinstated for North American Chorthippus, which is not (as erroneously supposed) conspecific with an Old World species. A neotype is designated and described for C. curtipennis (Harris), and a lectotype is chosen for C. montanus (Charpentier). Keywords
