Abstract
A strain of E. tenella that heretofore had never been exposed to drugs was serially propagated in groups of chickens that were initially fed suboptimal levels of amprolium. Differences in the response of experimental and control organisms to the recommended level of 0.0125% amprolium were detectable after the experimental strain had been passed 15 times. After 75 passages in the presence of amprolium, the experimental strain had no detectable cross-resistance to arsenosobenzene, glycarbylamide, nicarbazin, nihydra-zone, nitrofurazone, Novastat, Trithiadol, Unistat, or zoalene. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
