Abstract
Mice thymectornized inthin 24 hours of birth were immunized by intraperitoneal injection of sheep erythrocytes at 6 weeks of age and again 60 days later. Serum hemolysin activity was measured at various times following antigen injection. The serum hemolysln was fractionated by sucrose gradient centrifugation into 2 classes. A time-course of the antibody response was constructed for total, 19S and 7S hemolysins. Both reduction in circulating antibody activity and delay in reaching maximal levels were observed. This publication has 25 references indexed in Scilit:
