Abstract
Leaves of Teclea boiviniana yielded 2,75 % of alkaloids. They were identified as arborinine, tecleanthine, evoxanthine, 6–methoxytecleanthine, 1, 3, 4–trimethoxy–N–methyl–acridone and evoxine ; their structures were proved by spectroscopical evidences and, for 1, 3, 4–trimethoxy–N–methyl–acridone, by synthesis ; for this alkaloid, it is the first report from natural source. Keywords
