Abstract
A boundary value solution to the problem of transverse magnetic multiple scattering by M parallel perfectly conducting elliptic cylinders is presented. The solution is an exact one and based on the separation-of-variables technique and the addition theorem for Mathieu functions. It is expressed in terms of a system of simultaneous linear equations of infinite order, which is then truncated for numerical computations. Representative numerical results for the scattered field by two cylinders are then generated, for some selected sizes and orientations parameters, and presented.Keywords
