Abstract
A new species of Chaetodactylus (Acari) associated with a solitary bee. Tetrapedia (Hymenoptera: Anthophoridae), from Panama is described based on female, dimorphic male, hypopus, larva and protonymph. The first occurrence of male dimorphism in the family Chaetodactylidae (Astigmata) is reported. The family Chaetodactylidae is discussed briefly. A stored product mite, Tyrophagus putrescentiae (Schrank)(Acaridae) is recorded for the first time from bee nest.Keywords
