Abstract
The Baltimore City Health Department provides family planning services as part of its comprehensive maternity care program. Public health nursing follow-up at strategic times is important to minimize dropout. The critical period for oral contraceptive dropout appears to be during the first 4 months of use. Evaluation of the program by use of life table method and an index of success formula can determine effective use of contraceptive agents for the population served. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
